Cheesecake!

Hi! Yesterday I was hard at work creating cheesecakes and other yummy deserts, inspired by one of my good friends! :) Enjoy!

These chocolate raspberry cakes were fun, but hard to make.
I had to roll out each berry individually. :)

Cheesecake decorated with berries fresh from the garden!
Raspberry sauce, too!

The small cone pastries with berries are simply adorable.
They look good enough to eat!

Christmas Treats

I know it isn't Christmas, but I couldn't help it. Who doesn't look the scent of cinnamon hanging in the air, smell of fresh gingerbread baking in the oven. Lights on the houses, the whole family together, and presents nestled under the decorated tree. What could be more wonderful than Christmas? Re-created in miniature is one of my favorite holiday activities - gingerbread house making! Enjoy and hope it brings you a little bit of Christmas spirit this spring!
What's baking in the kitchen?! Yum!
Poinsettias and a finished house add to the Christmas spirit.
Hot cocoa with whipped cream and peppermint! The perfect drink on a snowy day, especially when coupled with a Christmas tree cupcake and a delectable gingerbread cookie!
Christmas wouldn't be complete without the good ole picture of  the personification of  gifts and the Christmas spirit- Santa Claus!
I hope my miniature gingerbread table has given you a touch of the happiness, warmth, and joy that Christmas brings each of us every year!

Pizza, Anyone?!

Hi! For this next miniature table, my mom and I decided to create something Italian. And what can be more fun to make than pizza? I discovered this first hand while making this delightful table!

If there are any special requests or items you'd like me to custom make, feel free to comment or contact me. I hope you enjoyed seeing my table!

Hand Painted Carved Benches

Hi! My grandmother came to visit a few weeks ago, and before her visit, I was trying to think of a miniature project for us to do. Something fun, fast, and something that uses both of our creative talents. While trying to think of something,  I remembered how skillful my grandmother is at painting. Her paintings are beautiful, real life, and 3 dimensional. When I found some beautiful unfinished carved storage benches, I knew that they would be perfect. Below are pictures of the pieces of art created by my wonderful grandma and me!

This bench we painted with the theme of an Italian sunset. The red, orange, yellow, and blue remind us of the beautiful sunsets in Venezia. A splash of pink peaking out can be seen as a slight accent.

This bench we painted using greens and oranges to create a beautiful  look to be desired in all styles of houses, regardless of what time period or style!

This last bench was inspired by the bakery I am creating. But, instead of just using the pink and white theme I've been going for, I decided to mix it up a bit, using yellow and green accents!

As you can see, these benches turned out pretty good, and I had a ton of fun making them! Check back soon to see some Italian food! Also, below are the links to my Etsy shop where I'm selling the first two painted benches!

Plague Hospital

So, I finished plague hopsital!!!! Here are pics:

Again, sorry that the picture is sideways. I'm not very techy. But here's the outside.

This is the doorway into the bottom floor.

This is the overall picture of the inside.

Close up of the upstairs.

Here are the bodies. I covered them with blankets so the buboes were more shocking.

This is my table of doctor's instruments. The bottl with the cork is filled with leeches. The vile with yellow liquid is a urine vile. The metal dish is a blood letting bowl, filled with fresh blood of the nearest
